We are The Food Bridge Initiative, a nonprofit organization run locally in Westport, CT, and surrounding towns. Our mission is to support food pantries and homeless shelters, through collecting leftover food donated by restaurants and grocery stores. At the end of the day, most markets and restaurants throw away their leftover food, regardless of the state. The Food Bridge Initiative works to collect this surplus of wasted food, and deliver the food to shelters and pantries. Feeding struggling members of our community in a cost efficient and zero waste way.
